Foo Fighters is an American rock band, formed in Seattle in 1994. Founded by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl as a one-man project following the dissolution of Nirvana, the group evolved into a full band with Grohl as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter.
